The CanadaGenWeb Archives have been created to allow the genealogy researcher to access files of primary records pertaining to Canada. These include vital records, cemetery records, church records, Census records, ship passenger lists, military records, court records, land records, wills, obituaries, directories, local histories and many others.
Submissions from visitors just like you are needed to help preserve and distribute information. If you have a file, transcript, etc. that would help a fellow Canadian researcher please consider submitting it to CanadaGenWeb for posting on our website. All submissions are credited to the person who submits them.
Please note that we CANNOT post *any* copyrighted works unless YOU are the holder of the copyright and give us express permission to post your information. We also cannot except GEDCOM files. If you wish to share your GedCom please consider using Rootsweb's WorldConnect.
If you have a file that pertains to Alberta, Ontario, or Saskatchewan please submit it to the provincial Archives. Links to these archives are provided by clicking on the province.

2. You will be contacted by CanadaGenWeb telling you where to send your file
3. Follow the instructions in the e-mail :)
*Please note that due to the increase in viruses & worms sent via e-mail CanadaGenWeb cannot accept files unless they are in TEXT format. Files sent in other formats will not be opened or used in the Archives.
