Legacy Userís Group
First Tuesday of Each Month at 1:00 p.m.
Roots and gold Dust Genealogical Society is sponsoring a Legacy Userís Group.† Richard Wilson will be instructing the Legacy8 Genealogical Software class on the first Tuesday of each month, beginning on April 7th at 1:00 PM.† The class will be held in the same room that we use for our monthly meetings, the Primary Room.† The location is the LDS Church located at 3275 Cedar Ravine Road, Placerville, CA.† If you have Legacy8 loaded on your laptop, tablet, etc. you may bring it and use your copy of Legacy8 to follow along with the material being presented.† You are also welcome to attend, take notes and gather information about how to use the Legacy8 Program. Handouts will also be available for all attendees.†

This yearís presenter will be Fitz Juengling, Ph.D., AG.
†† Dr. Juengling is an Accredited Genealogist through ICAPGen for the regions of Germany and the Netherlands. †He has four degrees which include Germanic Philology with minors in English and Liguistics (Ph.D.), Germanic Philology (MA) and International Studies with German Emphasis (BA). †Germanic Philology is a field of study combining language, liguistics, paleography and history for specific regions. †Dr. Juengling's language training includes Old, Middle and High German.
†† Dr Juengling works as a Research Specialist at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City. †He also teaches as an adjunct professor at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
†† He has, since 2011, presented at numerous national genealogical conferences in the U.S. and one in Germany. †He has 31 presentation topics. †He is the author of webinars, one video course and numerous papers.
