1865 - 1866.
Franklin District
(Booklet p. 8) Commencing at the southwest corner of section nineteen, township six north, range five east; thence west one mile; thence north five and one-half miles, including Mr. Blunt, to or near J.C. Beach's south line, township seven north, range four east; thence east four and one-half miles, more or less, to the northeast corner of the southwest quarter of section twenty-seven, township seven north, range five east; thence south one and a half miles, to the south line of Mrs. Foulks' land, being to the township line between townships six and seven; thence east three-quarters of a mile; thence south three and one-half miles; thence west two and one-quarter miles; thence south half a mile; thence west to the place of beginning.
Freeport District
(Booklet p. 8) Commencing at a point on the Sacramento river where the division line between the line formerly known as the Gosling and Kadel ranches, intersect said river; running thence east to the range line between ranges four and five, township seven, then south along said range line two miles, more or less, to the southwest corner of section nineteen, township seven north, range five east; thence west to the Sacramento river; thence northerly along said river to the place of beginning.
Georgianna District
(Booklet p. 8) All that part of Sacramento County lying south of the first section line, below the township line between townships four and five north, range four east, shall be called Georgianna District.
Granite District
(Booklet p. 8) Commencing at a point on the bank of the American river that would be the intersection of Granite and Natoma townships; thence south to the township line where it intersects Willow Creek; thence down and with the meanderings of (booklet p. 9) said creek to its junction with the American river; thence up and with the said river to the place of beginning.
M.H. Terrell has been set into this district by Act of Supervisors, May 13, 1863.
Grant District
(Booklet p. 9)Commencing at the southeast corner of section one, township five north, range six east; thence west four miles, to the southwest corner of section four, same township and range; Thence north one mile to the northwest corner of section four, same township and range; thence west two and one-half miles, more or less, to the intersection of the township line between townships five and six, with the Comsumnes river; thence southerly along the said river to its intersection with, or near, the northwest corner of section twenty-four, township five north, range five east; thence east seven miles, more or less, to the east line of Dry Creek township - being the southeast corner of section thirteen, township five north, range six east; thence north to the place of beginning.
