County Board of Supervisors Minutes, Volume H - 1865 - 70, Location at SAMCC # 15:36;41.


January 5, 1866, p. 111:

Petition of John P. Rhodes (That is the spelling) and others praying the Board to change the boundaries between Rhoads and Wilson School Districts was read and said petition having received the recommendation of the Superintendent of Common Schools was granted and the boundary line between said districts changed as follows to wit; "Commencing at the intersection of the northwest corner of said district with the Jackson Road, near the northern corner of A. Mulls tract of the Sheldon Estate; thence running along the said Road to the eastern corner of J. C. Austin's land; and thence easterly to the eastern boundary of the Rhoads District.

May 9, 1866, p. 153

Supervisor Beckman offered the following resolution which was adopted. Resolved that the Superintendent of Public Schools be authorized to compile and transcribe, in proper form, the boundaries of the several School Districts in the County in accordance with Section 25 of the School law, at a cost not to exceed thirty dollars.

June 5, 1866, p. 161

Journal of last meeting read and approved of Common Schools, on the Boundaries of School Districts was read and adopted. (My inclusion, seep. 162-164).
