We have information on burials in these cemeteries:

• CATHOLIC or St. Joseph's CEMETERY 

Location:  Highway 16, just east of the entrance gate to Rancho Murieta South (Murieta Parkway South). This cemetery, accessed from the highway, is fenced although not locked.

• HISTORIC CEMETERY North 

Location:  Highway 16 & Murieta Parkway inside the gated community of Rancho Murieta North, just west of the 5^th Fairway of the North Golf Course.

• HISTORIC CEMETERY South 

Location:  Highway 16 & Murieta Parkway inside the gated community of Rancho Murieta South, just North of the 4^th Fairway of the South Golf Course .

• MISER CEMETERY 

Location:  Highway 16 & Murieta Parkway insdie the gated community of Rancho Murieta North, northwest of Callero Lake.

• SLOUGHHOUSE or PIONEER CEMETERY 

Location: Highway 16 (Jackson Road) near the old Sloughhouse Inn. Enter at Sloughhouse Inn, turn left down dirt road.

• IONE - MICHIGAN BAR ROAD or Live Oak CEMETERY

Location: Approximately 1/8 mile south of Highway 16 on Ione Road and is now locked and inaccessible to the public.

• Elder Creek Cemetery

Location:  Elder Creek Road between 65^th Expressway and Power Inn Road. 

• Franklin Cemetery

Location: Franklin Hood Road.

• Hicksville Cemetery

Location: Hicksville Cemetery on Arno Road, just off Highway 99 in Galt  )

• Lakeside Memorial Lawn Cemetery and Veterans Cemetery

Location: Folsom Blvd. on the left just before the bridge in the City of Folsom

• Matthew Kilgore Cemetery

Location: East of Rancho cordova on Kilgore Road just off White Rock Road & Sunrise Blvd.

• Mormon Island Cemetery

Location:  Green Valley Road between Folsom & El Dorado Hills. Is in El Dorado County but just east of the county line. The Cemetery is off the road and is fenced and locked and the key must be obtained at the General Store on Green Valley Road.

• San Joaquin Cemetery

Location: South of Sacramento, approximately ten miles, and is on Sheldon Road just off Highway 99. 

• Sheldon Cemetery/Pleasant Grove Cemetery

Location: Grant Line Road just south of Wilton Road. Take Pleasant Grove School Road; the cemetery is located next to the school in Sheldon.

• St. John The Baptist Catholic Cemetery

Location: Natoma Streets and Sibley Streets in Folsom; the church is front of the cemetery.

• Eagles and Knights of Phythias Cemetery

Location: Natoma and Sibley Streets in Folsom and is across the street from the Catholic Cemetery.

• Old City Cemetery (Sacramento City Cemetery)

Location: Broadway & Riverside Blvd.

• Prothero Headstone 

Location: Near the junction of Michigan Bar Road and the Cosumnes River bridge is a solitary headstone of John Prothero who drowned 3/29/1858 at the age of 19. This is on private property.  

• Van Vleck Memorial Park

Location: Highway 16  private property (gated) just east of Rancho Murieta South.

• New Helvetia Cemetery

Location: This cemetery is no longer in existence. There is a memorial garden at East Lawn Cemetery on Folsom Blvd. in Sacramento near M Street.

• East Lawn Cemetery

Location: Folsom Boulevard at 43rd Street.

• East Lawn Mortuary

Location: 5757 Greenback Lane

• East Lawn Sierra Hills Memorial Park

Location: 6700 Verner Ave. off the Capitol City Freeway (Business 80)

• East Lawn Southgate

Location: 9189 Stockton Blvd. off Hwy 99 in Elk Grove

• Potter’s Field

Location: This cemetery is no longer in existence. The old location was 38^th and Franklin Boulevard.

Location: 10221 Jackson Road. (Highway 16)

Location: 8201 Greenback Lane in Fair Oaks.

• Masonic Lawn Cemetery

Location: Riverside Blvd. at Odd Fellows Cemetery (behind Old City Cemetery)

• Odd Fellows Lawn Cemetery

Location: Riverside Blvd.  (behind Old City Cemetery)

• Sunset Hill Cemetery

Location: This cemetery is no longer in existence. The cemetery is now in parts of the Old City Cemetery and Masonic Lawn.

• Meadowview Cemetery

Location: This cemetery is no longer in existence. Original location was at the northwest corner of Meadowview Road and 24^th Street.

• Old Jewish (Hebrew) Cemtery

Location: This cemetery is no longer in existence. Original location was one block east on 31^st Street on the south side of J Street. Removals were done and reinterred in the Jewish Cemetery, Home of Peace.

• Home of Peace Jewish Cemetery

Location: 5700 El Paraiso Ave.

•  Sylvan Cemetery

Location: Auburn Blvd. in Citrus Heights

• Sacramento Memorial Lawn

Location: 6100 Stockton Blvd.

• Quiet Haven/Bellview
