Sloughhouse Area Genealogical Society welcomes contributions from families about our area settlers.  We also welcome historical information, cemetery information, stories, etc. about our surrounding area or the Sacramento Valley. 

SloughhouseAGS is not responsible for misinformation or inaccurate leads.  We accept this contributed information in good faith and trust the author/author's are accurate or accurate as can be in their research.  If you find any information that is inaccurate or appears to be inaccurate, please send an email to Sloughhouse AGS with detail and we will attempt to get the information corrected as soon as possible.

Copyright or ownership of information belongs with the contributor and the information submitted is for informational use on the Sloughhouse AGS website with their permission. 

Note to Contributors.

First and foremost, we thank you for your information and your willingness to share so others may learn.  Sloughhouse AGS is accepting your work, for posting to the internet on our site, in good faith that the information you are submitting is, to your knowledge, as accurate as possible.  We will post information, pictures, compiled data, etc. that you provide.  By submitting your data you are agreeing the information, in full or modified detail, may be posted to the public internet.  The page on which your work appears will be duly noted and credited with your name (additional information such as email or other information can be added, if you chose, but will not be required). 

It is known that sometimes "family stories" can be just that, stories,  and are the source of years of modifications to the original story.  We  welcome those stories, as well, but please make note of such stories and the source of the information (i.e. "handed down from Aunt Lee", "story told to my grandmother by her sister", etc.).  This will make for a better understanding of how the information was acquired.

Should any information be disputed,  you will be notified and we will attempt to resolve the issue with your input.  If the data is found to be totally inaccurate, the information is subject to immediate removal.

Please do not submit information to post that is copyrighted by anyone other than yourself. If information submitted is found to be copyrighted, the information will be removed immediately.  Copyright or ownership of information belongs to you, as a submitter, and a reference to this information will be posted on the page containing your submitted data (that has been written by you.)  The reference will be made as to ownership and should you request a copyright reference, in addition, please notify the webmaster.  As contributor, any information you have submitted will be removed upon written request should you chose to do so.  Please notify us of any change of email address, referenced URL or other pertinent information should we need to contact you.
