William A Scott married 7 Jun 1857 to:
William and Zilpha had four

George W. Scott - 1859-? (possibly never married)
Lewis M. Scott 1860-1942 married Sarah
Sadie
Mary E. Scott 1865 before 1900
(Zilpha list 4 children two living on the 1900 and 1910cencus. Both boys were living at
that time.)
William A. Scott and Zilpha G. Moore divorced on 24 Nov 1885 (Information found in the Sacramento Bee listing November divorces for: 24 Nov 1885) in Sacramento, Sacramento, CA.
William then married Sarah Johnson Muse on 28 Nov 1885 just 4 days after his divorce from Zilpha was final. (Sacramento County Vital Records Reel 405 Image 560 #7773. Certifcate stated that William was 52, Sarah 25.)
William and Sarah Johnson Scott had four children:
William G. Scott - August 10 1885 - ?
Ella Jane Scott - 1888 - 1959. Married 1st to Mr. Selvey and had one son. Married 2nd to George W. Calvert.
Hattie C. Scott - 1889 - ?
Chester Scott - 1891 - ?
Sarah Johnson first married
Thomas P Muse and had two children:
Maud Muse 1879-1970 married Edgar C. Winsheimer and had one child. I have is death info. (On the CA Death Index it lists Maud's birth as 1877; the SS Death Index listed her birth in 1885 and the Census records in 1880 show her a 1 yr old.)
Sarah Johnson Muse Scott died on 10 June 1939 (Sacramento County Vital Records death certificates Reel 280 Image 443 #820.) The death certificates states that she was 78 yrs 11mo 10days at the time of her death. Her father is listed as Lemuel Johnson, mother as Jane Hope. Informant was Mrs. George W. Calvert.

Sarah Scott, is living
