Hank Jones to Present Two Morning Sessions

Hank has been a professional genealogist since 1965. Hank is an entertaining genealogical lecturer, an accomplished writer and a respected Fellow of the Americn Society of Genealogists. He is best known for his extensive work with Palatine German genealogy and for his popular book, "Psychic Roots." Hank also has a long career as an entertainer and screen actor.

Anthony Hoskins is currently head of the History and Genealogy Library in Sonoma County and also serves as the Sonoma County Archivist. For eleven years he was the reference librarian of the genealogical collection at Chicago's Newberry Library where he also taught courses in beginning and advanced genealogical research for nine years. He has spoken at genealogical conferences all over the midwest and has appeared frequently on radio and television; being interviewed on NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw and also on BBC Radio. He has been featured in articles in Chicago, Fort Lauderdale, Miami and London newspapers and has been cited in major national magazines.

This will be the eighteenth all-day session sponsored by SCGS. It will be held in the Harry A. Merlo Theater at the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts, Highway 101 at River Road, Santa Rosa.

Pre-registration is highly recommended to reserve your seat for this event. Price of admission for pre-registration is $20 for members of the Sonoma County Genealogical Society, $25 for non-members.
