Descendants of Robert ARMSTRONG

Armstrong Redwoods Natural Reserve, along the Russian River at Guerneville, is named for Col. James Boydston Armstrong. Although he did not live to see his land officially become a state park, his daughter, Lizzie, and others brought this parkto fruition in 1918. While the Armstrong family is not related to the Finley line included in this web site, it is of sufficient local interest to be included here. Please be aware this is a working report and not everything is formallydocumented. However, many sources are listed in the notes.
