to Present All-Day Genealogy Seminar in Santa Rosa

Barbara Vines Little CGSM , current president of the National Genealogical Society, will present an all-day seminar at the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts in Santa Rosa on 22 April 2006.

“Energetic and informative,” “knowledgeable, “superb” speaker is how she is described by persons who have heard her make presentations on genealogy. Little has been a professional genealogist since 1982, specializing in Virginia record sources, land platting, neighborhood reconstruction and tax records. She also does complete genealogies and problem solving for her clients. She is a former president and current governor, Virginia Genealogical Society, Track II coordinator, of the Virginia Institute of Genealogical Research. She is editor of the Magazine of Virginia Genealogy and former bi-monthly editor of the Virginia Genealogical Society Newsletter and MidAtlantic Germanic Society’s newsletter, Der Kurier. She has published three volumes of Virginia court records and edited others for publication.
