to Present All-Day Genealogy Seminar in Santa Rosa

Rhonda R. McClure is a staff genealogist for the New England Historic Genealogical Society. She specializes in New England
and celebrity research as well as computerized genealogy. She has been involved in
online genealogy for sixteen years. She was the Data Manager of the Genealogy
RoundTable on GenieŽ for seven years. She was the forum manager for the Genealogy
Forum on MSNŽ for eighteen months. She has been a contributing editor for Heritage
Quest Magazine, Biography magazine and was a contributing writer to The History
Channel Magazine. She has authored articles in Ancestry Magazine, Genealogical
Computing, Everton's Genealogical Helper. She is author of the award-winning The
Complete Idiot's Guide to Online Genealogy, now in its second edition and The Official
Family Tree Maker Version fast & easy series for versions 8-10, and The Official Guide
to Family Tree Maker Version 11. She has published three books with Betterway Books,
including her most recent book, Digitizing Your Family History. As a lecturer she has spoken at national conferences, including NGS, FGS, and
GenTech, as well as participating in the Brigham Young University Computerized
Genealogy Conference numerous times. She is a course coordinator for the 2007 UGA
Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy, a week-long institute that she has taught at five out of
the last seven years. She has upcoming speaking engagements across the country. She is
a past director of the Federation of Genealogical Societies, was the Program Chair for the
FGS/NEHGS 2006 Conference.
