Watson
Fields, USN in 1924, compiled the publication, Pictorial Souvenir, Mare
Island Navy Yard. The booklet contains a nearly complete roster along
with group photographs of officers, enlisted men, and civilian employees
who served or worked at Mare Island in the early 1920’s. The following
database contains names and subjects extracted from this book by members
of the Solano County Genealogical Society. Copies are available from SCGS
for the usual research charge.
