CONTRIBUTE
TO THE SAN DIEGO GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY There
are many valuable and helpful ways to contribute to the San Diego Genealogical
Society. Your contribution will aid the Society in accomplishing
its goals and objectives. In addition to contributing your time
and skills by volunteering at the SDGS
Library, on the Board of Directors or on a special project that
is of interest to you, there are a variety of ways to make a financial
contribution to the Society.
The San Diego Genealogical Society has been recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law when no goods or services are given in exchange for the contribution. Please consider making a contribution to the Society in one or more of the following ways: Upgrade
or renew your membership to a higher level.
The individual membership rate has intentionally been kept low in order
to make it affordable for as many people as possible. For those
who desire to make a greater contribution, higher
levels of membership are available.
Contact
the Membership Director to upgrade your membership now or renew
at a higher level when you renew your membership at year's end.
Patronize
these retailers who generously donate a portion of your purchase amount
to the San Diego Genealogical Society. Here are the simple
steps to set these donations in motion:
Albertson's Community Partners Program - Go to the Community Partners webpage and
register your Preferred Savings Card.
Food 4 Less Food Company - SDGS provides
Food 4 Less with your name and address, and we issue you a Food 4 Less
Community Rewards card.
Provide this information on the enrollment sheets at a SDGS
meeting or telephone the Society (858-279-7347) and leave a message
on the answering machine with your name, Ralph's Club Card number,
your address and telephone number. Indicate whether you want to enroll
in the Ralphs or Food 4 Less program, or both. We will mail you the
Food 4 Less Community Rewards card. There are several avenues
available to contribute tangible assets to the San Diego Genealogical
Society:
A check
made payable to the San Diego Genealogical Society is the simplest way
to financially support the Society and its activities. You may
designate a specific use for your donation if you wish.
Many
companies have 'matching gift' plans that match donations made by employees
and retirees of the company to non-profit organizations. The procedure
is simple. Just fill out your company's 'matching gift' form and
send it along with your check to SDGS.
Honor and remember a loved one with a memorial gift in their name sent to the San Diego Genealogical Society.

to contribute to the San Diego Genealogical Society. To support the
San Diego Genealogical Society and its objectives please consider
