The San Diego Genealogical
Society's Library is close to major freeways. It is easily accessible
from most parts of San Diego county in about 30 minutes or less.
There are two parking lots at 1050 Pioneer Way - one on the front
side of the building and one along the back of the building. If you
are a SDGS member, use the parking lot
on the back side of the building and enter through the back door using
the key pad access. If you are a guest or visitor, pull into the parking
lot along the front of the building.

General directions from
different parts of San Diego County follow:
DIRECTIONS FROM
CENTRAL PARTS OF SAN DIEGO COUNTY
Travel east on I-8
Exit at Johnson Avenue
Turn left onto Johnson Avenue at the offramp signal and travel north
Turn right onto Fletcher Parkway and travel east 1 block
Turn left onto Pioneer Way and travel north
Turn left into the parking lot of 1050 Pioneer Way
DIRECTIONS FROM
SOUTHERN PARTS OF SAN DIEGO COUNTY
- Travel north on either I-5, I-805 or I-15
- Merge onto I-8 and travel east
- Exit at Johnson Avenue
- Turn left onto Johnson Avenue at the offramp signal and travel
north
- Turn right onto Fletcher Parkway and travel east 1 block
- Turn left onto Pioneer Way and travel north
- Turn left into the parking lot of 1050 Pioneer Way
DIRECTIONS FROM
NORTHERN PARTS OF SAN DIEGO COUNTY
- Travel south on either I-5, I-805 or I-15
- Merge onto CA-52 and travel east
- Merge onto CA-125 and travel south
- Exit at Navajo Road
- Turn left onto Navajo Road at the offramp signal
- Travel east on Navajo Road in the left lane
- The left lane of Navajo Road merges onto Fletcher Parkway eastbound
- Travel east on Fletcher Parkway
- Turn left onto Pioneer Way and travel north
- Turn left into the parking lot of 1050 Pioneer Way
DIRECTIONS FROM
PARTS OF SAN DIEGO COUNTY
ALONG THE CA-67 CORRIDOR
(i.e.
Ramona, Poway, Lakeside, Santee)
- Travel south on CA-67
- Exit at the Broadway / Fletcher Parkway exit
- Turn right onto Fletcher Parkway and travel west
- Turn right onto Pioneer Way and travel north
- Turn left into the parking lot of 1050 Pioneer Way
DIRECTIONS FROM
PARTS OF SAN DIEGO COUNTY
EAST OF EL CAJON
- Travel west on I-8
- Merge onto the CA-67 North exit
- Exit at the Broadway / Fletcher Parkway exit
- Turn right onto Graves Street
- Turn right onto Broadway / Fletcher Parkway and travel west
- Turn right onto Pioneer Way and travel north
- Turn left into the parking lot of 1050 Pioneer Way
