In 1993, the chapter celebrated it's 75th anniversary.  A hanging banner was designed by Margaret Klomp of Redmond, Washington, daughter of member Janet Malagnini.  The banner was sewn by Murial Fisher of the Don José De Ortega Chapter. The material used was a light blue polyester.  The chapter name and organizing date are colorfully embroidered on the top and bottom of the banner.  The middle of the banner consists of a circle quartered into pictures of valley scenes painted with acrylics.  The top left depicts the San Fernando Mission prior to 1971and the bottom left depicts orange groves which were plentiful in the valley.  The top right is that of the sun shining brightly on the hills of poppies, the California flower and the bottom right depicts the many city buildings of San Fernando, California.
