For some events in your association with UDC or other WBTS groups, period clothing is encouraged but certainly not required...it's a fun thing. You will in no way be out of place in modern clothing, as most will be dressed that way, but period attire can be a lot of fun. The following listed websites are in no way affiliated with UDC and many others can be found by typing in SUTLERY in your favorite search engine. PERIOD DRESS Other Sutlery Stores with both ladies clothing as well as military uniforms: The Mercantile Soldier's Joy Sutlery Joann's Fabrics is a good local source for material and patterns such as McCall's, Butterick etc. and they sometimes go on sale for 1.99 each. There are also specialized patterns available on some of the above sites. Sooooo...get busy and "cooter up!"
