FEATURED PRESENTER - Lloyd deWitt Bockstruck
Mr. Bockstruck began his career as a librarian in 1971 and joined the Dallas Public Library in 1973 where he has become distinguished as a genealogical librarian and writer.

The newly retired genealogy librarian at the Dallas Public Library has authored numerous books and articles that have appeared in professional library and genealogical publications.

Until this year, he had written the Dallas Morning News Family Tree column, beginning in June 1991.

Mr. Bockstruck is a member of more than 50 lineage and heritage societies, and has received several awards and commendations for his library and genealogical accomplishments.

The NGS Quarterly wrote: "The name Lloyd DeWitt Bockstruck is synonymous with modern genealogical education. His dry wit, wide range of subject matter, and fail-proof knack of imparting exactly the kind of information his audiences need, all combine to guarantee a full house at his lectures and seminars.....".
