the Ventura County
Genealogical Society Home Page. The VCGS is a
California-registered Non-Profit organization dedicated to the
promotion of genealogy and public education. The VCGS also
maintains a reference library which is located within the Camarillo
Library at 4101
Las Posas Road, Camarillo, Ventura County, California.
Our regular meetings are held
on the third Saturday of each month. Please visit the Meetings

History Center in Ventura has established a new web site
that provides on-line information about the library, including
location, hours of operation, Thursday evening class schedules, and a
complete catalog of books, films and fiche collections help by the
