![]() A Gift of the Past for the Future! Started in February, 1997, The USGenWeb Census Project is an all-volunteer project to transcribe census records in a standard format in order to make them available to genealogical researchers on the Internet.
A copy of every transcription is submitted to the USGenWeb Archives. The USGenWeb Archives provides a searchable genealogical and historical database to the general public free of charge. It is intended that this material not be used in a commercial manner. All submissions become part of the permanent collection. Like everything we do in the USGenWeb Project, this is being done in the spirit of sharing. This is your chance to help others by sharing your resources and time to assure that all future researchers will have the benefit of all of the census enumerations at the click of the mouse.
