1871 census shows her as Mary A. M.
Civil registration index marriage record is June quarter 1854, Camberwell, 7 d 751 (possibly in error, microfiche almost illegible).
Given name is written clearly "ancellina relicta quondam Johannes pignyollet de chessard" and "ancillesca relicta quondam Johannes pigniollet de chessard" in two notations in the record book of Nicod Méan of Payerne, 1502 and 1507 (appears to be acknowledgement of debts, 3 sacs of meal and 7 livres lausannois). Another document involves "Girardus filius quondam Johannes pigniollet de chesat". (Another researcher reports "Annelisa", clearly an anachronism.)
1900 census shows son by prior marriage (i.e., step-son) Andrew M. Rowley, b. ??dec1888. (Also 1910 census, ED 24, p. 344)
Son Andrew M. Rowley was born in December 1888, and son Lawrence G. Barnett was born in January 1892. However, the latter is listed out of order on the census, could belong elsewhere though still listed as "son".
Named in her husband's testament of 24 mar 1524, Rodolphe Demont, notary at Moudon.
Mentioned as wife of Jean Dutoit in baptism of Jean, son of Mauris Dutoit in 1640, and as his widow in 1654. In Moudon, there is a Jean Dutoit dit le Clerc with wife Benoicte mentioned at least from 1609 to 1624. This Jean was the son of a Jaques dit le Clerc, and there was a contemporary Mauris Dutoit son of a Jaques. Thus, at least some of the Dutoits of Chesalles seem to be the dit le Clerc branch from Chavannes and Moudon. The notarial records, however, lead us to believe that at least one of these references in the church records is probably an error, and that there is a real risk of confounding individuals who share the same names.
