Document of 08 jul 1734, Isaac Guibaud notary, has Marguerite Arnaud widow of the late Pierre Richard, tanner, acting for her daughter Marguerite Richard, still a minor, with advice from Pierre Marset (=Marcel) her nephew (cousin crossed out), Jean Paul Bernard her nephew, and Louis Francillon, regarding a tannery behind the Rue du Pré. It is likely only the last 2 of the children survived their father, for a document prepared the day after his death says he left these two daughters (Isaac Guibaud, notary, 27 oct 1723).

Her testament was probated (at Morges?) 19 jan 1746 (ACV Bg 18/1, fol. 1, not yet examined). She was "copropriétaire" of the seigneurie of Chamblon, part of the parish of Champvent, near Yverdon, as of 18 feb 1741 (Jean Pierre Meunier, notary at Grandson, register 2, p. 106, not yet examined). Presumably this connection explains the presence of her daughter Susanne Gabrielle at Yverdon in the 1750's.
She was declared the heir of her mother Marie Catherine LeClerc 24 jun 1727 (ACV Bg 120/5 fol. 366, not yet examined).
