She was a party to a dispute settled at Moudon 18 jan 1610, recorded by the notary Antoine Richard (ACV DL 80/1, among the unnumbered leaves following fol. 214. The plaintifs were Noble Gabriel de Blonay, Seigneur de Moudon et de St. Légier, à present Seigneur de Carrojoz, with his brother George de Blonay, and his cousin Noble Hanns Rudollff Masset. The defendants were Noble Hanns Meyer, Advoyer de la ville de Fribourg, Noble Marie de Brandebourg relaissée de feu Noble Nicollas Meyer bourgeois de Fribourg, tutrice de ses enfants, and acting for them and as "compartissants", Noble Nicolas Meyer and Egrège François des Granges, generals, and Spectable Hanns Gottraulx of Fribourg.
The relationships of the parties in this dispute are not clearly defined, but we see in Hanns Meyer and the late Noble Nicollas Meyer (whose widow is Marie Brandenburger) two sons of Franz Meyer. The General Nicolas Meyer would have to be the one who had a brother Antoine Meyer, both military men, and whose parentage has not been discovered. Assuming that Hanns, Marie, and Nicolas the General represent three branches of a family that had inherited joint property rights that also involved the de Blonay family, it seems likely that Nicolas the General is not a direct descendant of Hanns, although another possible interpretation is that Hanns and Marie are not actually present, and Nicolas the General and the other two men are simply acting for all of them. But the document raises another question, since it is not obvious how the descendants of Franz Meyer became entangled with the de Blonay family (presumably through the seigneurie of Carrouge), when the previous Seigneur de Carrouge is thought to be Nicolas Meyer, the brother of Franz, who died in 1579 and apparently left a son Nicolas who died in 1597. It may be that both sons of the original Daniel Meyer jointly held the seigneurie of Carrouge.
