He is listed with only the surname D'Arcy in the memorial inscription the cemetery of St. George, Hanover Square, London, but listed as the son of the person transcribed in Miscellanea Genealogica et Heraldica (series 3, vol. 5, p. 165) as ". . . . Stanis . . . . De La Rochette of this parish . . . . 1802 aged 71 years". His sister's inscription shows the surnames "D'Arcy Delia Rochette", perhaps a transcription error.
Recent correspondence indicates Edward Augustus D'Arcy had at least one son, Henry Augustus D'Arcy, born 1806 in Pimlico and died in 1874.
