The third b. 1642 was the son of David Mayor and Jeanne DeSaussure, but he was not the minister as is usually supposed. The fourth was born about 1640, but no baptism has been located. He was the minister, as revealed by records of notaries Bernard Grosjean (15:356, 1663, Geneva) and Henri Portaz (25 nov 1668, Lausanne).

Mentioned as the father of Felix Mayor in registers at Bière as early as 16 jun 1577 (page 12 of first baptismal register). Humbert enters into an agreement of exchange with Jaquemoz Cohendoz dated 10 jan 1593, Claude Mayor notary. However, Felix (known to be son of Humbert) and his brother Jaques enter into an agreement of "partage" 07 may 1603, Claude Mayor notary. The transactions and references in these sources are difficult to follow.
However, a terrier of 1577 (ACV Fh 161, Commissaire Etienne Favre, for property from the former chapels of the church at Aubonne) has an entry for Humbert Mayor, son of the late Othonin Mayor. Othonin or Ottonin is mentioned with his brothers Antoine and Jean in several of the earlier terriers. Humbert Mayor was the son of Ottonin and the paternal uncle of the notaries Antoine and Michel, sons of Pierre Mayor, according to the terriers. Therefore, Antoine and Michel are grandsons of Ottonin.

Noted as son of Jean Samuel Mayor, Juge de Ballens, in marriage record. From the date, it appears Isaac Henri must have been born before Isaac Samuel. His father apprenticed him to Isaac Fine, surgeon in Geneva, 14 jun 1724 (J. Fr. Choisy vol. 3, p. 214). Since it is hard to believe he would be apprenticed to a surgeon at age 12, it is tempting to believe that Isaac Henri was born about 1708, even though no record has surfaced.

In addition to confirmed children, there is a marriage at Lausanne, Jeanne Susanne daughter of Isac Mayor of Echallens, to Pierre Antoine Louis son of Jean Pierre Chapuis of Epalinges, 31 dec 1784. This appears to be a different Isaac Mayor. Our Isaac Samuel appears as a catechumen at Bière 12 apr 1732, along with Pierre François Felix Mayor, not yet identified. It is very likely that some record will be found of his estate.
Bière church records note age at death as "about 90".
As of the 1765 census of French refugees at Lausanne, she is still living with her parents (age 22). Married at the church of St. Laurent in Lausanne by the minister of Prilly, by a brevet of the Supreme Consistory.

Name of the place where Jaques serves as minister is missing in one place, unreadable in another. However, the Dict. Hist. (Mottaz 1914) shows a Jaques Mayor was minister at LaSarraz about 1590 to 1596. Other contemporary records place him at Lignerolles and Onnens.
