Jean Wilson was born, circa 1725. It is not known if Jean is the daughter of James Wilson. A James Wilson witnesses two of her children's baptisms in Methlick, where he is identified is from Fyvie Parish. On her marriage entry in Monquhitter, she was of Fyvie Parish. James Wilson also witnesses baptisms of other Cheynes and Sandisons. She was the daughter of James Wilson.
Jean Wilson married James Cheyne 1747, in accordance with the procedures of the Church of Scotland, in Monquhitter Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland.1
