If anyone is interested, there are Amerines here in Hamilton
County, Kansas. Some of them came from Holly, Colorado (Prowers
County). Hamilton and Prowers border each other.
Sandra Throgmorton John Milton AMRINE What information do you need. I have the Amerine-Amrine Genealogy book written by Wesley and Velma Amerine Winn. Plus there are still several Amrines in Baca Co., and a whole bunch of us live in Colorado...natives! John Milton Amrine was my G-great Grandfather. His son Hezekiah is my great Grandfather, and his son Herman is my grandfather, his daughter Fayella is my mother, and Irquote m Sandra Keen Throgmorton. The Amrines live to a ripe old age, and Herman lived to be 95 yrs. old. If you're interested in more let me know..it's extensive!
Dorris Smith James & Elizabeth CAYWOOD About 1872 James & Elizabeth Caywood, & their son, John Wesley moved from Rush Co., Kansas to the settlements of Buckeye and Two Buttes, CO. and opened a Feed & Flour Store about 10 miles from the Kansas state line, between the Arkansas & Cimarron Rivers. John Wesley returned to Ohio, his parents remained in Co. When and where are they buried?

B. S. Arbuthnot Carrizo From Baca County History Book copyright 1983 Carrizo Springs, located 23 miles southwest of present town of Pritchett near the Sam Collins ranch, was organized December 17, 1887. There was a population of approximately 400 people. By 1893, Carrizo Springs was a ghost town with only piles of rocks to show where the buildings used to stand. Carrizo Flats: Built 1.25 miles south of Oklarado in 1887. The estimated population was 150 which eventually moved to its sister city, Carrizo Springs.
Carol McCrellias Charles McCRELLIS, d. 1917 Am looking for information on Charles McCrellis who appears in a cemetery listing for Baca Co., Colorado (d. 1917, bur. Stonington, Colorado). I also understand a Charles McCrellis who lived in Englewood, Clark Co., KS died of a gunshot wound in Colorado in Feb 1917 and appears in a cemetery listing for Meade Co., KS (Graceland Cemetery). I am researching this individual, and that of a poss. spouse Lou (Bodie) McCrellis as part of my attempt to locate descendants of my gr-grandfather's siblings, and would be willing to hire interested individual to assist in local records lookups.
Donna S. Boyd Location of Carrizo I am seeking information as to the location of Carrizo during the period 1895-1900 in order to verify the whereabouts of Wm. H. Boyd and wife Isabelle "Belle" Frances Eustace Boyd and family. I have a copies of letters from Belle written to a niece, datelined Carrizo, and I'm trying to ascertain which Carizo it was. Where was Carrizo in Baca County during this time period? This may help me locate marriage and other records for some family members.

Marcella Piersall Lamar or Baca Co., CO 1919-1930 I am looking for descendants of Robert DANNAR or DANNER b. 1884 and Georgia BARKER. Robert died in 1930 around Lamar, CO or Baca Co, CO. He and Georgia had one or two children. I believe Georgia BARKER had a brother named Emmett BARKER. After Robert died Georgia remarried. I would like to share info about these families. Thank you.
