WELCOME! Broomfield is located in the Metropolitan Denver area, between Denver and Boulder on Highway 36 The Broomfield Genealogy Society was organized in April, 2000. Our purpose is to promote interest in genealogy; educate our members and the interested public in genealogy research; encourage and instruct members in genealogical research through careful documentation and the maintenance of quality genealogical standards; to locate, preserve, and index public and private genealogical records, especially those in Broomfield, and to make those records available to the general public. MEETINGS: Meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month (except July & August), 7PM, at the Broomfield Senior Center, 280 Lamar. Each meeting consists of a short business meeting and a program. The public is invited. Dues are $12.00 per year for individuals, $14.50 per year for a family membership. Questions may be directed to one of the officers.
