It is time for our 50th class reunion, can you believe!
Your committee, composed mainly of Grand Junction residents, is planning a fine extravaganza.
Keep these dates in mind:
September 9th & 10th (Friday & Saturday)
September 12th & 13th (Monday & Tuesday) for post reunion trip
If you know more accurate addresses, emails, & phone of others, let us know immediately.
Friday
The elegant (for Delta) Fireside Restaurant in Delta will be the initial gathering place late afternoon and evening for a Class of 55 sponsored hors d’oeuvres party and just hanging out.
Saturday
The morning and afternoon will be open for golfing (new Devils Thumb golf course north of the Delta Airport), Fort Uncompahgre Living History Museum, walking trails at Confluence Park, tour Grand Mesa (near peak color) or just anything you want to do.
Saturday evening
Back to the ‘elegant’ Fireside Restaurant for a great meal and program. We have reserved the large meeting/dining room.
Cost for the above dinner and program and mailing/office expense will be about $30 per person. More information will follow as we complete our planning.
Please respond with current mailing/phone/email information as soon as possible. If you cannot come, we would appreciate knowing and would like to have you send information regarding your current situation so we can share with attending classmates. Email will save us postage for further announcements.
Optional Post Reunion Trip
Monday
Drive to Silverton and meet shuttle bus for Durango mid-day.
Check in at the historic Strater Hotel. Dinner on our own.

Tuesday
Have full breakfast at the Strater before boarding the Denver & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad for the return trip back to our cars at Silverton. www.durangotrain.com
The optional trip will be about $180 per person, double occupancy. This group package rate saved substantial costs making it very affordable.
