Kanza Cemetery

Kanza Cemetery is located along County Road 6. Take Colorado Highway 94 to the town of Rush and turn north approximately 1 mile east of town onto Holtwood Road/County Road 132. This is the county line between El Paso County and Elbert County. Elbert County roads are numbered and El Paso County roads are named. Follow Holtwood/CR132 about 1 mile to CR6 and turn east. The cemetery is about 1 mile along CR6. There are quite a few markers and for the most part they are in good to excellent condition. There are recent burials.
