The Society's Purposes are:
to promote an interest in genealogy and to encourage members in genealogical research.
to locate, preserve and index public and private genealogical records and to make such records available to the general public.
to publish and distribute genealogical and historical information.

Any applicant interested in furthering the objectives of this organization shall be eligible for membership upon submission of a completed application and payment of dues. Colorado ancestry is not a requirement of membership.

James Jeffery

James Jeffrey has been with the Denver Public Library since 1985 and the genealogy collection specialist since 1988. He is the 2004 recipient of the P. William Fiiby Award for Excellence in Genealogical Librarianship from the National Genealogical Society; is past-president of the Colorado Council of Genealogical Societies and an active member in the National Genealogical Society.
