LGS Annual Memorial Day Weekend

Mountain View Cemetery

Service Project May 24th - 26th

Each Memorial Day weekend the Society helps visitors to the Longmont Mountain View Cemetery find the burial location of their ancestors. It is a great way to spend two hours by helping family members locate the resting place of their loved one. Please help by donating two hours of your time on Saturday, May 24th, Sunday May 25th or Monday May 26th. Contact Margaret (303-678-1522) for details or sign up at a monthly meeting in April or May.

The Colorado State Archives maintains records from the State and Territory of Colorado, counties, municipalities, special districts, private entities and a few federal agencies. Many of their records have been indexed and can be searched through the Historical Records Database. Each of the record sets that are available in the database has a description that should help you decide if an individual record will have the information you are looking for. Many more record sets have not been indexed to date. This list of our holdings will help you get an idea of what’s available.
