The Society has a nice collection of genealogy books on many subjects that can be helpful in learning a new research skill or finding information about a specific area. There are a number of books specific to Colorado research including both the Longmont Mountain Cemetery Book and the Ryssby Cemetery book published by the Society.

The books are housed at the Longmont Family History Center located at 1721 Red Cloud Road (17th & Alpine Street). Call 303-772-4373 for their current hours. The FHC is on the east side of the building.

Books belonging to the Longmont Genealogical Society may be checked out by members, but must be done only through the Society's Librarian Joella Marler.  She works at the Center on Tuesday mornings from 9-1 and can be reached there or at home by calling 303-684-8090. The length of loan will depend on the book.
