The Museum of Western Colorado also has a microfiche file of the Colorado Historical Society's Index of Colorado Papers. It is necessary to go to Denver to see them. The index gives the location of all the papers it lists.

Fruita Times:
5 Dec 1929- 5 June 1930, 2 Jan 1945- 15 Sept 1945, 12 Jan 1951- 16 Nov 1951, 4 Jul 1952 - to present. plus about 30 isolated copies from other times, these papers may be seen at the Fruita Times office. It is best to make an appointment.

Mesa County Public Library in Grand Junction has complete files of the Daily Sentinel from 1883 to present
Also Grand Junction News 1882 - 1915 and weekly Sentinel.

The library has an obituary file from the sentinel plus some that have been supplied by by the Mesa County Genealogical Society.
