Everyone is welcome. Please plan to attend and bring your guest(s). Come prepared to ask big (or small) questions. You are also invited to share a topic about using computers in genealogy research and recording.
Attendees introduce themselves and initially speak at their round-the-room turn for 2 minutes. When there are 20 - 25 people, 2 minutes each quickly adds up to almost an hour!! During the course of the meeting, computer genealogy topics/questions brought up are openly discussed in greater depth.
Free snacks and coffee are always served. Everyone is invited to bring their own sandwiches for the lunch break.
Chuck M. has a wonderful set of printout samples of what various genealogy data programs can do for comparison – such as PAF, Master Genealogist, etc. You can see these at the meetings.
If you would like to become a member, the membership dues are $10.00 per household per year. Pikes Peak Computer Genealogists welcomes new and continuing members.
