USGenWeb policy prohibits lookup volunteers from infringing on copyrights, so please do not ask for large quantities of information, information on multiple people, or photocopies of pages from the books.

If you see a book listed for lookups, you are the copyright holder, and you do not want the book used, please notify the county coordinator and it will be removed.

Procedures for requesting lookups:

• Send an e-mail message to the volunteer listed.
• Please be very specific and only request one lookup at a time.
• Please allow up to two weeks for a reply before sending another request.
• Be sure to thank your volunteer for responding to your request.
• If you encounter problems, please contact Temporary Coordinator, your county coordinator.
