Pulling Rabbits Out of Hats:
Swedish Research at the Denver Public Library

James K. Jeffrey

How can anyone research their Swedish Ancestors in a library with few, if any Swedish, resource materials? Come along with James K. Jeffrey as he guides us through the joys of research in one of the country’s premier genealogy libraries.

James K. Jeffrey has been the Collection Specialist in Genealogy at the Denver Public Library since 1988 and with the library since 1985. He is the 2004 recipient of the P. William Filby Award for Excellence in Genealogical librarianship from the National Genealogical Society.

James is President of the Colorado Council of Genealogical Societies and active in the National Genealogical Society. He is passionate about connecting researchers with the resources they need to explore their ancestors and the world in which they lived.
