Gertrude "Gert" T. Schock, 77, Glidden, died Monday, Nov. 27, 1995 at Court Manor in Ashland. She was born Sept. 29, 1918, at Glidden, the daughter of Carl and Anna (Prokosch) Lenzen. She was married to Leonard Schock on Sept. 30, 1937, at Glidden. She was a lifetime member of St. Ann's Sodality. She is survived by her husband, Leonard, Glidden; four sons, Robert (Maria); Sheridan (Shirley); and Jerry (Roxanne), all of Glidden; and Lonnie (Abigail), Albuquerque, N.M.; four daughters, Marilyn Wohlleben(sic), Park Falls; Donna (Bill) Slaugenhaupt, Miami, Fla.; Beverly (Bob) Pollencheck, Park Falls; And Joanne Hall, Glidden; 19 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Jerome Lenzen, Duluth; Mildred Brodin, Duluth; and Judy Bents, Eau Claire; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, James Edward; a brother and two sisters. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday from Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, Glidden, with Fr. Linus Evers officiating. Burial will be at Most Precious Blood Cemetery in the Spring. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Novitzke Funeral Home, Glidden, with a parish prayer vigil at 7 p.m.
