18. Jacob⁴ Gillen (Nikolaus³ Gilen, Paul² Gielen, Quirin¹) was born in Krautscheid, Germany December 29, 1854. Jacob died May 30, 1922 in Shakopee, Minn., at 67 years of age.

He married Katherine Weber in Niederpierscheid, Ger., April 27, 1883. Katherine was born December 12, 1849 in Niederpierscheid, Ger.. Katherine died January 23, 1943 in Shakopee, Minn., at 93 years of age.

Occupation: TAILOR. He was christened in St. Martin Cath Church-Ringhus, December 29, 1854.(27)

41 iv. Nikolaus Gillen was born in Krautscheid, Ger. March 31, 1886. Nikolaus died March 24, 1925 in Shakopee, Minn., at 38 years of age.

42 v. Michael Gillen was born in St.paul, Minn. April 18, 1888. Michael died August 18, 1888 in St.paul, Minn., at less than one year of age.

+ 43 vi. Ann Gillen was born February 14, 1893.

+ 44 vii. Christine Gillen was born July 29, 1897.
