John was born June 24, 1826/1832 in Ireland.⁽³³⁴⁾ He was the son of Jeremiah Lawler and Margaret English. John died September 25, 1904 in Rochester, Olmsted Co, Minnesota, at 77 years of age. His body was interred aft Sept 25, 1904 in Calvary Cemetary, Rochester, Minnesota. He was listed as the head of a family on the 1860 Census in Zumbro, Olmsted Co, MN.⁽³³⁵⁾ Jeremiah owned $600 real estate and $40 personal property.

He was listed as a household member living with Jeremiah Lawler in the 1860 Census in Zumbro, Olmsted Co, MN. The surname was misspelled Taylor in this census. However, the agricultural census in 1860, correctly shows him as Jeremiah Lawlor. Some names and ages are also obviously incorrect. Jeremiah is shown as owning $1000 of real estate and $100 of personal property. Also a John Taylor shown but son John was listed separately two houses away.

He was enumerated 1865 in Sherman, Olmsted Co, MN.⁽³³⁶⁾ He petitioned the court to become a citizen before 1870. He was listed as the head of a family on the 1870 Census in in Haverhill, Olmsted Co, MN. He was enumerated 1875 in Haverhill, Olmsted Co, MN. John died September 25, 1904 in Rochester, Olmsted Co, Minnesota, at 77 years of age. His body was interred aft Sept 25, 1904 in Calvary Cemetary, Rochester, Minnesota.
