My great-great grandfather was Patrick Mullan(e)y (1804-1886) of Cahir, County Tipperary who married Katherine O'Donnell (1815-1895) of Cahir, Co. Tipperary in Ireland (emigrating to Waterloo, Iowa U.S. through New Orleans before 1851; Patrick and Katherine are buried in Waterloo, Iowa) and had four known children: Mary (b.1847), Edmund (b. 1846), Katherine (b. ??), and Alice S. (b. 1851). All the children were born in Ireland except for Alice, who was born in Ottawa, Illinois. Mary married James H. Kerwin (b. 1842) and had several children; Katherine married Daniel J. Donovan (dates unknown); and Edmund married my great-grandmother Mary Ann O'Regan (b. 1853). I am interested in finding out where in Cahir Patrick and Katherine O'Donnell were from, their parents/siblings, when they were married, and any other information concerning them. |

| Bob Devereaux <rldead@worldnet.att.net> | I have Mary Mullany (Mullaney sp?) who married James Brady around 1840? My trail is pretty sketchy but family stories indicate they were from Roscommon County and had a son, James P. Brady, on Nov. 2, 1841. |
