4. Joseph² Pohl (George¹) was born in Prussia October 14, 1844. Joseph died May 1, 1917 in St. Paul, Ramsey Co, Minnesota, at 72 years of age. His body was interred May 3, 1917 in Calvary Cemetary, St. Paul, Minnesota.

He married Anna Heift in St. Cloud, Stearns Co, Minnesota, June 13, 1868. Anna was born November 8, 1844 in Germany. Anna died December 24, 1915 at 71 years of age. Her body was interred 1915 in Calvary Cemetary, St. Cloud, Minnesota.

Joseph Pohl and Anna Heift had the following children:

• + 12 i. Robert³ Pohl.

• + 13 ii. John Pohl was born May 28, 1870.

• + 14 iii. Francis Pohl was born March 11, 1872.

• + 15 iv. Joseph Pohl was born January 10, 1874.

• 16 v. Peter Pohl was born Minnesota March 23, 1876.

• + 17 vi. William F. Pohl was born March 19, 1878.

• 18 vii. Anna Pohl was born Minnesota July 30, 1879.

• 19 viii. Mary R. Pohl was born Minnesota August 11, 1881.

• 20 ix. Martin Pohl was born Minnesota March 24, 1883.

• 21 x. Rupert Pohl was born in St. Joseph, Stearns Co., Minnesota June 26, 1884. Rupert died September 12, 1884 in St. Joseph, Stearns Co., Minnesota, at less than one year of age.
