First Generation

1. Peter¹ Meinz was born in Germany January 22, 1833. Peter died April 18, 1901 Minnesota, at 68 years of age. His body was interred 1901 in St. James, Jacob's Prairie, Minnesota.

He married Theresia Pohl about 1865. Theresia was born June 7, 1847 in Prussia. Theresia was the daughter of George Pohl and Maria Metzner. Theresia died November 11, 1921 Minnesota, at 74 years of age. Her body was interred 1921 in St. James, Jacob's Prairie, Minnesota. She was listed as a resident in the census report 1860 in Stockbridge, Calumet Co, Wi. She was listed as a resident in the census report 1865 in Rockville, Stearns Co, Mn. She was listed as a resident in the census report 1870 in St. Joseph, Stearns Co, Mn. She was listed as a resident in the census report 1875 in Rockville, Stearns Co, Mn. She was listed as a resident in the census report 1880 in Rockville, Stearns Co, Mn.

Peter Meinz and Theresia Pohl had the following children:

• + 12 xi. Theodore Meinz was born June 7, 1886.

• 13 xii. Josephine Meinz was born Minnesota April 1890.
