1. William Joseph¹ Cotter was born in Philadelphia, Pennslyvania March 11, 1951.

He married Patricia Mary Corrigan in Rochester, Olmsted Co., Minnesota, September 22, 1973. Patricia was born September 20, 1950 in St. Paul, Ramsey Co., Minnesota. Patricia is the daughter of Cyril John Corrigan and Edith Jane Lethert.

William Joseph Cotter and Patricia Mary Corrigan had the following children:

• 2 i. Katherine Jean² Cotter was born Pusan, Korea January 16, 1983.

• 3 ii. Colleen Marie Cotter was born in Minneapolis, Hennepin Co., Minnesota December 10, 1983.

• 4 iii. Christina Jane Cotter was born in Fridley, Anoka Co., Minnesota March 12, 1987.
