First Generation

1. Joseph Ambrose¹ Lethert was born in Jordan, Scott Co., Minnesota May 19, 1886. Joseph died February 2, 1959 in St. Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota, at 72 years of age.

He married Mary Cecelia Pohl in St. Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota, October 5, 1910. Mary was born May 17, 1890 in St. Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota. Mary was the daughter of William Pohl and Katherine Kunz. Mary died November 14, 1975 Minnesota, at 85 years of age.

Joseph Ambrose Lethert and Mary Cecelia Pohl had the following children:

• + 2 i. Alfred Joseph² Lethert was born August 11, 1912.

• + 3 ii. Edward Lethert was born August 10, 1914.

• 4 iii. Edith Jane Lethert was born in Hazelton, Pennslyvania March 2, 1920. Edith died January 18, 1991 in Rochester, Olmsted County, Minnesota, at 70 years of age. She married Cyril John Corrigan September 6, 1947. Cyril was born January 16, 1920 in St. Paul, Ramsey Co., Minnesota. (See Cyril John Corrigan for the continuation of this line.)

• + 5 iv. William Frank Lethert was born May 24, 1923.

• + 6 v. Joseph Thomas Lethert was born April 27, 1926.

• + 7 vi. David Donald Lethert was born September 29, 1933.
