A lot of this census was illegible, either because it was so faint you couldn't see it at all or because of the census takers handwriting. There are a lot of names that even the first letter could not be read and those families will be found in the ‘Unknown' file in the Weld County Master Index. Be sure and check every possible spelling of the name you are looking for. The WCMI includes the full name, age, and location where they can be found on the original census film.
