Donna Holt Siemiatkoski contributed so much to the

On Saturday, July 21, 2001, members of the Connecticut Professional Genealogists
Council met in
The purpose of this permanent fund is to purchase
genealogical materials and to donate them to area repositories such as the Connecticut State Library, and others. On
Tuesday, July 24th, vice president Dianne Lenti and president Bob
Rafford visited Donna at her home to tell her of the establishment of this Fund
and to present her with a certificate announcing the fund in her honor. She was
truly touched and honored by this legacy established by her friends and
colleagues.
Now that she has left us, the Fund will remain as a
lasting tribute to her memory. We know many of you will welcome the opportunity
to send contributions to this fund, so we invite all her friends and colleagues
in the genealogical community and elsewhere to donate to the Donna Holt
Siemiatkoski Acquisition Fund in Donna’s memory. These funds are entirely
separate from other funds in

Acquisition Fund is an “umbrella” fund for the collection and distribution of
genealogical materials to area libraries. Janet Wallace serves as chairperson
of the committee that oversees this Fund. Members Barbara Jean Mathews, CG,
Kathryn Smith Black and Richard C. Roberts have done an outstanding job of
guiding this Fund. Anyone may contribute money to

date amount to more than $4,000. The fund currently has approximated $4,200 as
