• International Czechoslovak Society of Arts and Sciences The Czechoslovak Society of Arts and Sciences (SVU) has been awarded a grant from the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs to survey historical sites and monuments, and the archival material relating to Czech-Americans. The project is envisioned as a long-term and broadly based effort, involving close cooperation with individual Czech-American organizations and relevant institutions in the Czech Republic, such as the Naprstek Museum. It is our hope eventually to enlarge the project to include Slovak materials with the cooperation of the relevant Slovak organizations in America. The project is coordinated by Dr. Miloslav Rechcigl, who has had extensive experience in the history of Czechs and Slovaks in America. Press Release.

• CGSI - CzechoSlovak Genealogical Society International is the world largest society made up of people researching their Czech and

Slovak family histories. Our society has over 4000 members, we are a not-for-profit all volunteer group. We hold national meeting and conferences, publish books, and are now up-dating our web site. http://www.cgsi.org The CGSI has a quarterly publication, the Nase rodina, which is about 40 pages long , and every two years a 100 page journal called Rocenka is published.

Please visit http://www.iigs.org/projects_registry/index.htm for information on how you can list your projects with descriptions and, if volunteers are needed, the skills that will be needed to assist in your projects. The projects registry is currently available in English, Dutch, French, Norwegian, and Swedish. Pages in other languages will be added as translators volunteer to prepare them. If you want to enter your project or know of some projects that should be included, please complete the online application form.
