My James Line
There is a very close tie to the RUSSELL, JAMES, HITT AND KENTON
families in Fauquier Co., VA in the mid-1700's on. There were at least,
four different JAMES families in the area at that time. Perhaps,
someone will hold the clue that I am looking for. My James line,
possibly English. My James - Hitt Connection is in Germanna and
Germantown, Fauquier Co, VA, Hamilton Parish, Turkey Run Area ,
Fauquier Co., VA, mid-1700's that went to Mason Co, KY, early 1800's
then to Clay Co., IN, early to mid-1800's, then my gg-grandfather,
Thomas R. James and his brother went on to Lafayette Co., MO, where
they married WALLACE
sisters of Lexington, Lafayette County,
MO. These
Wallace's came from the Albemarle County
area of VA.
