I have published 4 Volumes on my family history. These are done in the same
general format as used in the New England Historic & Genealogical Register.
Volume I was published in the Spring of 1980 and Volume II was published in
the Fall of 1981. Volume I 2nd edition was published in August 1993. It
includes everything in Vols. I & II plus many more family connections. It is
about twice the size of Vols I & II combined. It is 490 pages....The book is
completely indexed with about 7500 names. It has many connections to Alfred
the Great, William the Conqueror, to kings of England and to Spanish Royalty.
There are connections to 3 Mayflower lines...lot of skeletons in the closet.
My next volume was a book on my wife's parents listing their known ancestors
and all of their descendants, published in 1985. I...finished and published
a supplement of this in mid 1993. In 1995 I published just an update of all
their decedents.
My current project is putting a book together on...ancestors and descendants
of my maternal grandparents. I hope to have this completed and published in
1995 or 1996.
Complete manuscripts of my books are available for copying to anyone who will
pay the postage both ways and return the manuscripts. The writeups are on
WordPerfect 5.2 for Windows. MS Word for Windows 2.0 and later will read them.
The charts are on Excel 4 for windows. They can be read with later versions of
Excel. Don't know about other spreadsheet programs.
I WANT TO POINT OUT THAT THE WRITE-UPS ARE MODIFIED AS NEW INFO BECOMES
AVAILABLE. THE CHARTS ONLY GET UPDATED PERIODICALLY.
