Need any info on birth, marriage, death, or parents of Samuel B. ELLIOTT and wife Nancy HITCHENS, who lived east of Laurel, Sussex Co., DE in the 1800 - 1900 time period. I haven't found any records on this. Also need anything on the parents or siblings of John D. MESSICK and wife Sally CARMEAN from 1840 - 1920 in the Broadkill Hundred and then Milton area. Would like anything on the relatives of George HOLLEGER, 1850 - 1930, who married Rachel WALLS, and Zachery Holleger and wife Annie Willey In the Milford area 1850 - 1930.

Looking for information on John Spence PURNELL, b. 1761 in MD, d.1807, m. [unknown] MAY and had children, Samuel Purnell, b. 1797 in DE, and Nancy Purnell. John Purnell's parents were Thomas Purnell, b.1732 in Somerset County, MD, d. 26 Nov 1796 in MD, m. Comfort Purnell, b. 8 Dec 1737 in MD, d. 10 Jan 1798 in MD (first cousins). John S. Purnell inherited property from his parents on Cedar Creek, "Spencer Hall". Any information would be appreciated on the John Purnell family and the May family.

Beniah WATSON was b. abt 1837 in Cedar Creek, Sussex County, Delaware, son of Curtis WATSON and Sarah Clark DAVIS. I am seeking any information on Dr. Beniah WATSON, who married Phebe TRAPHAGEN 24 Sep 1868. He was a surgeon during the Civil War. Seeking to know what medical school he attended, and any other information about him and his family.

Looking for information on the surname of CREIGHTON in Sussex County. My great great grandmother, Elizabeth CREIGHTON, was born in Delaware, most likely in Sussex County, between 1807 and 1810. She married a Thomas HENDERSON around 1825.

Children are: Stephen (d.1849 in Dagsborough hundred); Nancy; Thomas Jr.; Job; George; Sothey; William; Polly; Jacob; Martha; Elizabeth; Peggy; Comfort; Sarah; Kessiah; Leah. Thomas LEWIS's Will was dated Aug. 14,1792 in Sussex Co.with Jepe Saunders, John Winright, and John Jones as witness.

Am searching for a James H. MILBY born c 1845 in Sussex Co. , DE. He went to Philly and married an Annie E. in 1872. At some point they moved back to Sussex and had five children. They must have divorced as Annie E. died in Philly in 1919. All the children were born in Sussex as well. I don't have the marriage cert, but can get a copy. This Annie E. is a BRITTINGHAM. Which family I am not sure at this point. I believe it's my line. Does anyone have any information on James H. Milby - probate, will, etc. - that mentions his wife or her family? I have a copy of a chancery suit which lists an Annie as an alias for my ancestor. I am trying to confirm that this Annie E. is the correct wife of James. Any help would be appreciated.

I am looking for the parents, siblings and grandparents of Imogene NYE. She was born in 1921 in Laurel, Delaware (per her obit). She married James J. SWAFFORD, Sr. and they moved to Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Imogene and James had four sons and two daughters. Imogene died in 1992 in Delaware county, PA and she is buried in the Lawncroft Cemetery, Linwood, Delaware Co., PA. Also looking for the cemeteries in the area around Laurel.

Am searching for Nathaniel BRITTINGHAM and wife Tabitha. They had a daughter born ca. 1852 named Airy E. They moved to Philly ca 1760/65, married, and died in Philly. Airy is buried in Oddfellows Cemetery, Sussex Co., DE.

Searching for the parents of John Dally COLLINS, b. 19 Oct 1870, d.1953. He married Sarah Hester Mann Bennett, b. 27 May 1871, d. 1943. They had four known children: Paul Cullum Collins (1895 - 1964), Sally Collins (who married Carmell Moore), Ruth Colins (who married William Horsey), and Mary Amenda Collins. John Collins lived around Laurel, DE, Sussex County. Any information anyone can share would be greatly appreciated. John is my great grandfather.
